I’ve been involved with computers for more than 40 years, and teaching technology has been an important part of that journey.
My teaching career began after my early experience with mainframe computers. I attended a mainframe school in New Jersey for six months, eight hours a day. That experience opened the door to a career that eventually led me into teaching.
It’s seeing the moment when someone finally gets it.
You know that moment—the big smile and the words:
“Now I get it!”
That’s what I’m here for.
Clearing away the clouds of confusion.
Many people already know more than they realize. They may have figured out a few things on their own, but still have questions or features that seem confusing. My job is to help clear away those clouds of confusion, answer the questions you’ve been wondering about, and help technology feel a little less intimidating.
I want you to leave each workshop feeling productive, more confident, and happy that you spent time learning something new about the technology you use every day.
I also hate seeing someone spend good money on a powerful device and then use only a small part of what it can do.
Our memories become more valuable as the years go by.
The memories we capture with our cameras and phones tell the story of our families, our travels, our celebrations, and the everyday moments we might otherwise forget.
To me, learning how to organize, preserve, and enjoy those memories isn’t just about technology.
It’s about preserving a part of your life.
That’s why I love teaching.
